Series director Todd Howard spoke with Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier about the slate of announcements and working with Obsidian Entertainment on the franchise again, but did not confirm release windows for any of the new projects. The studio reaffirmed that The Elder Scrolls VI is its “primary development focus” and that they’re “where we planned to be, loving how it looks, and playing it every day”.

The sudden announcement of a slate of new Fallout projects shouldn’t come as a huge shock, as new XBOX CEO Asha Sharma has pledged to focus more resources on the the firm’s tentpole IP as it cuts ties with studios who were making smaller experiences and working on original IP.
